In occasione del Salzburg Witsun Festival 2024 D-Wok si occupa delle scenografie digitali di “Une folle journée”, un’opera pastiche con ensemble e arie da Le nozze di Figaro, Così fan tutte e Don Giovanni – in un appassionato omaggio a Mozart. La storia è quella di un gruppo di viaggiatori che si ritrovano nella sala d’attesa di un aeroporto chiuso a causa del maltempo e nell’attesa sono costretti ad aspettare e a interagire tra loro e con il personale. Scenografia, musica e regia hanno sorpreso e divertito il pubblico, rendendo l’opera una vera novità. Per la realizzazione dell’ambientazione principale, la finestra che si apre sull’aeroporto, i 3D artists hanno lavorato su Unreal Engine, software utilizzato per la creazione di ambienti nel mondo dei videogiochi e del cinema.

For the 2024 Salzburg Whitsun Festival, D-Wok is in charge of the digital sets for Une folle journée, a pastiche opera featuring ensembles and arias from Le nozze di Figaro, Così fan tutte, and Don Giovanni – a passionate tribute to Mozart. The story revolves around a group of travelers who find themselves in the waiting room of an airport closed due to bad weather. While waiting, they are forced to interact with each other and with the staff. The set design, music, and direction surprised and entertained the audience, making the opera a true novelty. For the main setting, the window opening onto the airport, the 3D artists worked with Unreal Engine, a software used for creating environments in video games and cinema.
